ITX Marketplace Associate, M&A (Sell-Side Campaigns)
ITX is a global leader in smaller mid-market mergers and acquisitions focusing on IT Services businesses, MSSPs, MSPs, Microsoft, and Oracle channel partners.
ITX is a rapidly growing, Cleveland-based technology Mergers & Acquisitions firm that recently announced our fifteenth transaction in the last twelve months (joining more than 140 since 1997). We focus exclusively on smaller IT-enabled businesses that are historically ignored by investment banks and M&A advisors, and we’re at our best when representing founders and owners who seek to unlock the value they’ve created in their firms.
We’re looking a full-time Marketplace Associate — M&A to run sell-side campaigns and keep that number moving higher. Experienced understanding of M&A (particularly as relates to Information Technology companies), detailed organizational skills and strong client-facing communication skills are important as we’re looking to get you started as quickly as possible.
About the Job
This Marketplace Associate is responsible for running engagement processes, communicating with both client sellers and their prospective acquirers, developing relationships with private equity firms and strategic buyers and overall grasping the breadth and depth of campaign management. Job assignments include:
- Processing confidentiality agreements between buyers and sellers
- Managing projects to their workplans
- Tracking buyers and maintaining status reports
The candidate will work with all firm departments as needed, including Business Development, Marketing, Data Management, and Research. Limitless growth opportunities commensurate with previous experience.

The candidate must also be able to identify and find qualified prospective buyers for our clients, while also having the organizational and time management skills to effectively execute multiple running campaigns for our clients.
Desired proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office,
- Microsoft Excel,
- Microsoft SharePoint,
- CRM/Mailing platforms (HubSpot and Pitchbook are a plus).
- inDesign/Creative Suite a plus
About Your Background
Candidate should have experience with and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of:
